Dans un village rural au milieu de nulle part, Eryk, 15 ans, travaille dans un élevage d'oies et vit avec sa mère, sa grand-mère et son arrière-grand-mère, qui l'ont élevé en l'absence du père. Eryk est très proche de sa jeune mère Ewa, trop même, car elle le manipule et se sert de lui, créant ainsi une co-dépendance dérangeante de type mère dominante-fils soumis. Eryk étant amoureux de sa voisine de 13 ans, Klaudia, mais incapable de discerner entre l'amour et l'abus, il va lui-même se mettre à manipuler Klaudia, physiquement et émotionnellement, la forçant à des actes sexuels. Cela reste un temps secret, mais ce harcèlement apparaît ensuite au grand jour.
