RÉSUMÉ DE LA SÉRIE Southland :
Une plongée au cœur de la police de Los Angeles... Le vétéran John Cooper est chargé de former la jeune recrue Ben Sherman. Les méthodes brusques de son nouveau mentor vont pousser Sherman dans ses derniers retranchements et l'amener à se demander s'il a vraiment ce qu'il faut dans le ventre pour devenir un flic de L.A. De son côté, l'inspecteur Adams, qui vit toujours chez sa mère, fait équipe avec Russell Clarke, un homme malheureux en ménage et père de trois enfants. L'inspecteur Daniel "Sal" Salinger supervise quant à lui Nate Moretta et Sammy Bryant, chargés des enquêtes sur les gangs. Quant à l'officier Chickie Brown, elle rêve de devenir la première femme à intégrer l'unité d'élite SWAT...
